Goh Sik Ngee | Advisory Board Member
Goh Sik Ngee was appointed as an independent non-executive member of the Advisory Board on 1 November 2013.
Sik Ngee has a strong track record of managing companies in varied industries including publishing, retails, printing, media and education. He held appointments at the helm of a number of organizations which included CEO of Times Publishing Limited, CEO of Yellow Pages (Singapore) Limited and CEO of MediaCorp Publishing Pte Ltd. He started his career with the Ministry of Defence with his last appointment as Director of Manpower. Sik Ngee has also experience serving as a Board Member of listed companies in Singapore and Australia.
Graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering and subsequently a Master of Science (Industrial Engineering) from the University of Singapore. Sik Ngee also obtained the Executive Master of Science in Finance (with Certificate of Honours) from Baruch College, The City University of New York, USA.
Outside of work, Sik Ngee participated in community service as a volunteer for more than 20 years. In recognition of his contributions in community service and the civil service, he was awarded the Public Service Star (BBM) in 2008, Public Service Medal (PBM) in 2003 and Public Adminstration Medal (Silver) in 1986 by the President of the Republic of Singapore.
Gerard Lee | Advisory Board Member
Gerard Lee was appointed as an independent non-executive member of the Advisory Board on 1 March 2013.
Gerard heads the Human Resources, Compliance and Corporate Affairs functions at Stewardship Education Management Corporation, a consulting and management firm based in Beijing. Prior to that, he had previously held Asia Pacific and Group management positions in the healthcare, hospitality and financial services industries since 1998. In those years, Gerard led regional teams and functions in organizations including the Roche Group, Bintan Resorts and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Gerard counts Recruitment, Talent Management and Leadership Development amongst the most fulfilling aspects of his past and current work.
Prior to 1998, Gerard was a lawyer in private practice where he started as a Commercial Litigator, eventually sub-specializing in Construction Law. He obtained his LL.B degree from the National University of Singapore and has also benefited from Executive Education programmes with the University of Michigan, IMD and INSEAD.
Alison Tay | Advisory Board Member
Alison Tay was appointed as an independent non-executive member of the Advisory Board on 1 March 2018.
Alison has more than 20 years of experience placing CEOs and senior functional executives across major industries, and she has also conducted a broad range of leadership consulting assignments in banking/financial services, consumer/retail, engineering, and technology sectors. Alison was formerly the Managing Director of Avatar Partners, a boutique executive recruitment and HR consulting firm assisting international banks and regional corporations in strategic senior recruitment and succession management. Before that, Alison spent close to nine years with Russell Reynolds Associates, a global executive search firm as an Executive Director, where she played a key role in leading and managing international client relationships.
Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from the National University of Singapore. Alison is also a strong supporter of Loden Foundation () and an active volunteer for their social entrepreneurship programme, which funds start-ups and provides mentorship to young entrepreneurs in Bhutan. She is also a patron of their child sponsorship and tertiary scholar sponsorship programmes.
